FAMILY INVOLVEMENT 

At Sunrise, we understand that family involvement in school is crucial to the development of each child. For this reason, throughout the year we give caregivers the opportunity to participate in school activities, such as special celebrations, birthdays and classroom activities. In addition, we keep in constant communication with parents through a online platform that sends out weekly individualized reports, giving the parent access to teacher comments, planning, records and pictures. Twice a year we hold in-depth progress evaluations of each child and share our feedback with the family via an online individualized meeting. Parents get a digital copy of this report in advance in order to have all the information necessary to have a productive meeting. We have an OPEN DOOR policy, and encourage parents to communicate with us freely to talk about any topic concerning their child. We are a team!
